This is the 12" metal disc used for mounting the 12 magnets (offered without magnets) for our shop made 1000 watt turbines.

This wind turbine was designed for the most part via the plans and ideas from OtherPower.com.  http://www.otherpower.com/turbineplans.html however, this disc has cooling holes which allows the air to flow through the magnet plates and into the stator, this is extremely important for proper cooling

Some Specifics:

• The disc is 12" diameter precision cut from 1/4" mild steel on our plasma table
  
• The center hole is 2.6" diam for the front plate, and 2.85" diam for the back plate.
  
• There are four 1/2 holes at 4" centers for the hub.
  
• The front plate has an additional four 3/8 holes to assist in installation.
• There are eight .8" holes on a 3.125 radius (6 1/4 diam. center) for cooling.
  

Please specify if you prefer bare metal or powder coated (black gloss or texture only)

Also, let us know if you want the front or back plate. -- The front plate has the additional 3/8 inch "Jacking" holes -- If you want both front and back, simply purchase two items and let us know that you need a full set.
